Every treatment at Aculosophy is with Dalibor Covic, R.TCMP, a Registered TCM Practitioner with the CTCMPAO (#5076). Sue and Cara look after your bookings, invoices and questions, so each visit runs smoothly.

Can I check his registration?
Yes. In Ontario, only members of the CTCMPAO may use the title Registered TCM Practitioner (R.TCMP). Registration means Dalibor has met the College's education and exam standards, carries professional liability insurance, and follows its rules on safety, record keeping and conduct.
You do not have to take our word for it. Go to the College's website and look up registration #5076 on the College's public register. It shows his registration status and any conditions on it.
Because he is registered, his receipts carry his registration number, which most extended health plans ask for when you claim. See fees and insurance for details.
Training and background
Dalibor completed a five-year program in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, British Columbia. Before that he earned a degree in physiotherapy in Belgrade, Serbia. That grounding in anatomy and movement still shapes how he assesses neck, back and shoulder problems.
Before opening Aculosophy he ran a clinic in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with his family. He has practised for 10 years and has treated more than 3,000 patients.
His training covers:
- Acupuncture, including distal needling, where points on the arms and lower legs are used for problems elsewhere in the body.
- Electro-acupuncture, a mild electrical current passed between needles.
- Chinese herbal medicine, prescribed as individual formulas. See herbal medicine.

How Dalibor works
Your first visit starts with a conversation. Dalibor asks about the main problem, then about sleep, digestion, stress, medications and your medical history, because in Chinese medicine those details help explain the pattern behind a symptom. He then does a pulse assessment and a physical check where it makes sense.
Before any needles go in, he explains what he plans to do and why. After the first treatment he gives you a plan: roughly how many sessions, how often, and what they will cost. He reviews progress with you after the first few sessions, so you are not signing up for an open-ended course.
People most often come in for neck pain, low back pain, headaches, sleep and stress. Acupuncture works alongside the care you get from your family doctor, not in place of it, and Dalibor will tell you if something you describe needs a medical check first.
Languages
Dalibor sees patients in English. He also treats in Serbian and Croatian. If you would like your appointment in one of those languages, mention it when you book.

Sue keeps the clinic running smoothly and supports Dalibor with day-to-day operations. She is usually the person who answers the phone, books your visits and helps with invoices and insurance questions. Many patients who followed us from Etobicoke will know her already. She is also Nata's mom.

Cara is from General Santos City in the Philippines and is a licensed professional teacher. After three years in the classroom, she now looks after scheduling and patient questions, so booking your visit feels calm and easy.
Nata: deep healing and transformation
Nata (Natasha) Jelenic offers breathwork, meditation and personal coaching sessions from the clinic. Her work is separate from acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is not a regulated health profession, it is not provided or supervised by Dalibor as a Registered TCM Practitioner, and it is not overseen by the CTCMPAO. It is usually not claimable under extended health plans as acupuncture.
